James Rafferty facilitated and taught a workshop on the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) at the Speechtek conference in 2006.

James is an expert on IMS dating from its earliest days based on his standards experience in the 3GPP and IETF, and his specification of numerous IMS and Voice over LTE features in the BorderNet 2020 session border controller which he managed for Dialogic.
